Robert Long, Co-Founder, CEO – Bob graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1978 with a degree in marine engineering. He took a number of engineering jobs upon graduation for several years while he worked on building his own company, Long Built Homes. Long Built Homes is a development and homebuilding company that has been in business for 35 years and continues to successfully operate today. Bob has developed and built more than 1,400 homes to date and brings an extensive entrepreneurial resume and business acumen to BC Capital. Bob has personally been involved in over $400 million in real estate transactions throughout his storied career.
Ben Carocari, Co-Founder, COO – Ben graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA in 2013 with a double major in electromechanical engineering. After working as an engineer for several years for various defense contractors, Ben made the switch to real estate full time. He bought his first multi-family building at the young age of 24 and has continued to accumulate properties to his portfolio. Ben also founded BC Crane, a successful crane service company, which continues to operate today. He brings his extensive construction knowledge and entrepreneurial resume to BC Capital. Ben has been involved in over $125 million in real estate transactions to date.
